I think this pyTiVo is a great system. I'm so glad to have found it. I do have a couple question about this.
1. Is there any way that can one serve up the whole DVD menus and all to the TiVo? As I write this I'm thinking that it would actually take more smarts in the TiVo to do that. To actually pretend it's a DVD player.
2. Is there a way to get a better idea what's available in the DVD VIDEO_TS folder instead of 'Title 1...', Title 2...', 'Main Feature'?
I'm have a TiVo Premier XL, PC running Win 7 Pro x64

In principle, DVD menus could probably be replicated via the TiVo's HME interface. But no one has implemented that yet. (BTW, there are some old TiVo models with built-in DVD players. I haven't seen that in action.)
The DVD itself doesn't have labels for the tracks in any way that we could read, AFAIK, since they're intended to be played through the menus. If you know what they are, you could add metadata, but I'm not sure how that would mesh with the DVD plugin. _________________ My pyTivo fork . My page
