|
|
Just wanted to throw it out there that I've forked wmcbrine and combined the work lucasnz was doing for a mobileui. I've only been able to test it on the iphones we have, but I think it's good to go on any mobile browser. What I've done is simply take what lucasnz had for a mobileui, clean it up a bit and bugfix it so it did actually display properly for me, and add that to wmcbrine's most current commits - without any of the other extra's in the lucasnz fork, or the Iluvatar fork. Here are some screeners:
Code is on git, https://wynneth@github.com/wynneth/pytivo.git
or for anyone not using git, I imagine I can roll a tarball somewhere. |

| Ah! Thanks for that. I was focused on the mobile side and didn't even notice some of those links when I went thru adding the Format= bit in. |

Thanks for merging the mobile gui with the wmcbrine fork. I've recently decided to exclusively push videos to the tivo and the iPhone GUI definitely makes it easier. My little Dockstar has been working perfectly.
One question. Where can edit the <head> section of the html pages? I'm a little lost since the python code generates the page. I'd like to add a webpage icon for the iPhone when adding the page to the home screen. |

Too funny. Sorry, that probably seemed like a dumb question. I was opening the tmpl file in TextEdit and it was rendering the html. I recently got this iMac and I haven't fully set it up.
All good now. |

| Ok good! I apparently don't get notifications of replies here, so I would have just now answered you lol. |

|
|
| So I've been trying to check iluvatar and wmcbrine's forks both routinely. wmcbrine's is always the most up to date to work with the tivo software and such, iluvatar is more on the side of an up to date version of the lucasnz branch. As of current, my fork is a weird bastard child of all of them, and I like it that way. It's got the mobile ui as pictured in this thread, ffmpegthread and dvdvideo plugin support, and otherwise all wmcbrine's most up to date commits. I had no use for the mpeg-ts support or temp share still in the iluvatar branch, so I ripped that all out. |

Lol gotta give us a little time. I always keep up with wmcbrine as well but his recent changes require a bit more merge work than I have had time for. Expect it within the week. _________________ My pyTivo fork - Read link for changes

| Likewise I intend to get up to date with wmcbrine... But my hard drive died some time ago. Believe it or not, the replacement hard drive failed as well! So I'm waiting for another replacement! |

Wow you have some bad luck there.
....wynneth, I have merged all the changes that wmcbrine made within the last couple weeks. _________________ My pyTivo fork - Read link for changes

| No worries guys. It's nice that the code is straightforward enough I can mix and match and slash it to what I need based on everyone else's work, lol. |
