how do you guys debug I am adding .tmf support and am modifying video.py and transcode.py at least for now.. maybe eventually if I get it working I will move to its own pluging..

but regardless after I compile the moduesl and run if there is any problem or error and I get a python exception the tivo is now hung.. no keys work nothing and I have to unplug and plug in .. makes debugging pretty damn difficult
