Where can I find a step by step installation guide for idiots? I had been using pyTivo prior to a rebuild of my computer. It installed with ease, but now I am having a problems getting it to work. I am running xp with a series II Tivo. I have tivo desktop running and Tivodotnet working(I only have it running to make sure that I had connectivity, I do not want to use it going forward). All my firewalls are disabled. Please let me know what additional information I need to provide.

It just is not working, The pyTivo configuration app pops up and I set my paths, but Tivo is not showing the servers. I do not know enough about the program to figure out what is not working. Now I realize that some people's config file is much more complicated than mine. But last time I used the program everything just worked without having to change anything. When I run the pyTivoConfigurator "pythonw.exe" starts running as a process in my "Windows Task Manger" other than that, nothing else happens.

Well, nothing else would... you have to run pyTivo.py to start pyTivo itself. (Either that, or do the service install.) This is the way it has always worked, BTW. (Maybe you previously used an installer that set up the service automatically?)
