Theoretically speaking, does pyTivo (if running on OpenSuse) support the ability for me to put a ripped DVD (mpg files and whatnot) on the Linux server and being able to "pull" those from the pyTivo server to the S2 and S3 HD units?
I saw that one could apparently use the Linux server and rip the DVD's there as well?
Can you also schedule automatic push from pyTivo to the S2 (dual tuner) and TivoHD units?
Lastly, this isn't a streaming server, correct? So you either transfer the files to the Tivo units (via pull or push) and then watch, vs. streaming, right?
And if you're using the mpg files, you should put it in one big .mpg otherwise your playback gets interrupted, yes?

There's no scheduling. Otherwise, yes.
If you have DVD rips that aren't in "one big .mpg", then you should look at the DVD plugin in Eric von Bayer's fork. _________________ My pyTivo fork . My page
