Seems the replacement Tivo S3 I received from Tivo last August (bad hard disk and bad analog tuner in the original unit) started stuttering and being unresponsive to menu inputs tonight.

So a hard drive replacement looks to be in my future. Anyone got any suggestions for a drive (make/model)? I'm looking for 750GB or 1TB.

Western Digital AV-GP WD10EVCS

I installed one of these in mine last December and haven't had any problems. I think they are running a little over $100 now.

I have the same WD 1TB drive. I saw them on Newegg for $95 shipped last weekend. I have had mine for well over a year, no trouble.
