Is anyone else having this problem??

Transfered videos show up as transfer hours before you transfered them?? This causes the transfers to be listed lower on the NPL than they should be? For example if I have 3 shows that recorded this afternoon and I transfer a video right now it will be listed in the NPL below those three shows.

Is anyone else seeing this??

I solved it already but I haven't seen anyone else complaining about it so I am wondering if it is just me. It appears that the time value in the metadata should be UTC time and not local time.

Saw it, didn't think much of it... It's the normal behavior for MRV'd programs to show up according to the time they were recorded on the original TiVo. I think that's actually what pyTivo should be doing -- using the file's datestamp instead of the current time.

well it has that date too. The original time is still listed in the detailed info. But if time was set to original time then old shows like seinfeld would always show up at the bottom of the list. Which doesn't make sense since reruns still show up based on the time they were recored.

And I checked TiVo Desktop, it uses the UTC transfer time too.

I patched the update in my repository. Pretty simple.

I'm not suggesting setting it to the originalAirDate, just to the file date/time (last modified). That would be when it was "recorded" (to the PC). And with that done, we could actually implement sort-by-date as well as sort-by-name.
