PaulS ran a crawler to get seriesIDs for the MG a while back (you can view it here).

I need this done again, otherwise I won't have a good baseline to get seriesIDs to pass along to the TVDB. I might also start to keep them locally again as I am using multiple data sources as well now

PaulS are you around, or is anyone else willing to take on this task?

I'm here, but I'm not sure that my method of scraping zap2it was as good/efficient as reneg's.

What do you need that isn't provided by the seriesId listings that we have already ?

probably a good bit of new shows. That's what we are missing are the new shows....it could be that it's just easier to add them as we go to theTVDB

Here's a question...

I have scrubs with an ID (from Zap2It) of: EP00446160 which equates to SH446160

Now I searched for fringe and I get: EP01059103, but what does that equate to? I thought seriesIDs are only 6 numbers...

any ideas?

I have an episode of Fringe sitting on my TiVo.

SeriesID shows as: SH01059103

As reference:
